Looking for a positive and enthusiastic Book keeper/ Receptionist/ Administration Assistant in the seaside town of Blairgowrie.

We are a successful custom domestic Builder established in 1963 that requires the professional skills of an experienced office person. Key responsibility will be the smooth running of all the accounts in our dynamic fast pace office where your professionalism, initiative and office skills will be welcomed. Hours 9.00 to 5pm Monday to Friday. Hours are slightly flexible. Pay dependent on responsibility and experience.

Your full-time role will include providing a full range of office duties including:

  • Be detail orientated and committed to efficiency by planning and implementing office tasks. 10%
  • Process, manage and report on accounts receivable and accounts payable across multiple business {10% of your time}
  • Proficient in processing pays, superannuation, payroll tax and preparing the BAS.{20% of your time}
  • Responsible for the detailed data entry, signing off and final payment of 2 pay runs a month.{30% of your time}
  • Bank statements reconciliation over a number of account and companies.{10% of your time}
  • Customer Service- handle customer inquiries and complaints and process customer requests, keep updated customer records. {10% of your time}
  • Provision of administrative support to the Director included applying Council and Building permits.{10% of your time}

This is an autonomous role and you need to be comfortable being independent while being a key team member. You need to be self-directed and have organisational and problem-solving skill.

Applicants must have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Many years Bookkeeping and Payroll experience.
  • A positive approachable disposition.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in Builder trend and Xero an advantage.
  • Experience in the Building / construction industry an advantage
