Complaints Resolution Officer Role available within the State Government

Your new company
We are currently recruiting for a Resolution Officer on behalf of a well-respected department located in Melbourne CBD. They are looking for a strong willed individual to whom is able and willing to listen and understand their customer whilst taking challenging phone calls.

Your new role
The main objective of the role will be to deliver the highest quality customer service, while recording key and detailed information correctly on their system. You will be required to manage customer complaints, liaise with individuals on issues of a sensitive and confidential nature and ensure appropriate follow ups & solutions. This role is a temporary role to which will be covering sick leave.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong experience with dealing with challenging phone calls
  • Having the ability to be empathetic and understanding
  • Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written
  • Be able to maintain a friendly manner while dealing with complex complaints
  • Team player
  • Complaints experience
  • Hard-working, professional
  • High level of presentation
  • High attention to detail
  • Confident and polite phone manner
  • Contact Centre experience
  • Able to handle difficult conversations and work in a pressurised environment
  • Current valid Police check
