Payroll Officer

Full function Payroll process! Working on payroll for approx. 500+ employees, across 3 different Enterprise agreements plus non-enterprise agreements

More - you'll assist in a system implementation & set-up, & provide suggestions toward process improvement to get this firm ahead of the growth it's currently enjoying.

Description

Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader you will be responsible for:

  • Processing weekly and monthly pays
  • Interpretation of multiple agreements
  • Manual calculations for overtime, meal allowances, shift work, etc.
  • Leave management and calculations
  • Tax and compliance functions
  • Managing payroll enquiries / issues
  • New employee setup
  • Exit administration and calculations, termination payments etc.
  • Ensuring the integrity of the payroll overall and meeting payroll deadlines week to week
  • Greentree / MYOB experience
  • using multiple enterprise agreements
  • Collating and collecting relevant payroll data from a number of sources

Profile

To be considered for and successful in this role you will:

  • Offer similar experience, in terms of systems
  • Be happy working independently to manage a full function payroll, autonomously (once on-boarded)
    • Be immediately available to start work, or on a maximum of 1 weeks' notice
    • Be open to change and comfortable working in a fluid environment, against strict deadlines

    • Consider yourself a confident, social and high-energy person and personality

  • Enjoy working in a high-functioning team where you support each other to succeed
