The position 
 
We are currently seeking an Administration Assistant to join our office located in Melbourne’s CBD.  This is a permanent, full time position working in our COMCOVER General Insurance team. COMCOVER is the Australian Government’s self-managed fund for insurable risks.


Responsibilities of the Administration Assistant role include but are not limited to:

  • Managing daily workflow for your team in order to maintain client service standards
  • Focusing on providing the highest level of customer service and advice to Commonwealth Government Agencies in the management of claims for the COMCOVER portfolio
  • Recording of all new claims and incidents into the COMCOVER claims systems
  • Recording and distributing invoices for payment relative to the COMCOVER department
  • Maintaining client record database
What we are looking for:
  • Qualifications in an appropriate discipline and/or demonstrated experience in a similar role will be held in high regard
  • Work experience within an administrative role
  • Other Contract specific requirements as necessary (including the successful completion of a Commonwealth Security Clearance. Please note to obtain the requisite security clearance Applicants must be an Australian Citizen).
