We have an opportunity for a Project Finance Representative to join the Advisian Finance team, supporting the North Sydney Branch across multiple business lines, including Advisian & Worley.

In this role, the key responsibilities will include:

  • Project setup including WBS structure, funding requirements, rate build, transactional controls and funding in GBS (Oracle)
  • To maintain up to date project funding in co-ordination with Project Managers
  • Review accuracy of time writing to allocated projects and to process approved time card changes
  • Clearing project WIP and raising invoices to clients in accordance with contractual T&Cs in a timely manner
  • Review allocated projects at month end and to process necessary accruals to ensure correct reporting of Gross Margin (GM)
  • Responsible for the correct revenue recognition in line with company’s policy
  • Any other project finance related tasks as required by the Finance Manager
  • Be active in creating and maintaining a culture of HSE leadership that genuinely values no harm to the environment and values our people’s safety, health and well-being

To be successful in the role you will have the following skills & qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle (Project Finance Module)
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience with Ecosys (Project Controls System) is desirable.
  • Demonstrate initiative
  • Proven time management skills and ability to complete deliverables to schedule
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Able to engage and build relationships with stakeholders (Project Managers, Commercial and Operations team)
  • Degree in Business, Finance and/ or Accounting. Professional Accounting qualification (e.g. CA/CPA) is desirable.
  • Approximately 3 years of experience in a project accounting role.
