Associate Manager Channel / Alliances / Partner Development Associate

We are looking for a Partner Relationship Manager, based in Sydney, to build and preserve trusting relationships with our 3rd party vendors. We’ll rely on you to find ways to outperform our competition and maintain our company’s positive image.

 

To succeed in this role, you should be an excellent communicator, able to work with sales and marketing teams and build rapport with partners.  We also expect you to be a strategic thinker with an analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop current channel partner relationships
  • Strategize around partner management and build sales through partners.
  • Negotiate pricing and service scope descriptions with partners to optimize commercial outcome for DXC Red Rock
  • Identify key staff in partner companies to cultivate profitable relationships
  • Resolve partner complaints quickly and effectively
  • Forward upselling and cross-selling opportunities to the sales team
  • Promote high-quality sales, supply and customer service processes
  • Be the point of contact for all quote enquiries and preparation of same
  • Complete pipeline and opportunity reporting internally
  • Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them
  • Aim to preserve partners and renew contracts
  • Approach potential partners to establish relationships
  • Gain solid knowledge of competitors
  • Assist partner sales persons and GMT field sales persons on sales opportunities

·       Ensure partners comply with contract terms.

 

Requirements

 

  • Proven experience in Business Development
  • Experience in sales or customer service is preferred
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Aptitude for fostering positive relationships
  • Teamwork
  • Customer-oriented mindset
