Senior Paralegal

About the role

Reporting to the Group General Counsel, key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintaining and updating key Company records and registers;
  • Maintaining and updating intellectual property registers, renewing and lodging applications for trademarks;
  • Commercial agreements for both our Australian and International businesses, including contract manufacturing and distribution, marketing, procurement and confidentiality agreements;
  • Creating legal resources for the business, such as template agreements, and legal guidelines and updates;
  • Advising the marketing team regarding consumer promotions; and
  • Tasks related to mergers and acquisitions and dispute resolution.

About you

You will enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you have direct ownership of your work. This role will see you develop your career and assist with building a growing and results-driven business.

Additionally, you will have:

  • Proven paralegal skills and experience, ideally within the FMCG industry;
  • Excellent legal writing and analytical skills, with high attention to detail;
  • Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly across the Company;
  • Efficient and adaptable with a strong ability to multi-ask and balance competing priorities; and
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
