HR Officer

  • To $80,000 plus super
  • Accommodating hours, 8:30-5:00PM with parking on site
  • Autonomous role, reporting to the Managing Director
A global electronics business is currently recruiting for a HR Officer to join their Sydney team. This is an opportunity for a professional HR Generalist to join a dedicated team of like-minded individuals who boast collaboration and a supportive culture demonstrated through their high staff tenure!

Reporting directly to the country Managing Director you will be responsible for the overall Human Resources function, for a close-knit team of 35. With a generalist focus, your day to day will involve:
  • Providing advice and guidance to the management team regarding staff performance and compliance
  • Creating, implementing and maintaining company policies and people initiatives
  • Assisting with strategy and achieving alignment with business objectives
  • Supporting the office with WHS practises and ensuring adherence
  • Coordinating training and development for all staff
  • Developing and implementing performance improvement plans
  • Collating information and producing reports for management
To be considered for this role you will be degree qualified with demonstrated experience in a generalist HR position. You will have strong communication and relationships building skills, with clear experience in working with middle management and executives previously. You will be comfortable in an autonomous and predominantly operational role with previous experience working with a global business. Finally, having specific exposure to managing a system project implementation will be advantageous.
