The Company

As an established privately-owned mid-tier civil contractor with turnover in excess of $50m per annum, they have a number of ongoing projects across Sydney and have been shortlisted on several others in the metro area. With the bulk of their client relationships within local government, RMS and private sector clients, they have a secure pipeline of clients giving them repeat work based upon their successful project delivery record.

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, we are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator with experience working with subcontractor management, writing contractual letters and understands the nature of head contracts.

With this opportunity to join a dynamic and growing business, you will become the main contracts administrator where your responsibilities will include reviewing, tracking and managing the status of claims, variations and extensions of time, supporting engineers and project managers and identifying and managing conflicting priorities.

Key Skills & Attributes

In order to be successful with your application, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • 3 - 7 years’ experience in similar Contract Administrator role
  • Experience working with both subcontractors and principal contractors is advantageous
  • Ideally have experience and knowledge around AS4000 and GC21 requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mind
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
