WHS & Compliance Advisor

Based in the Greyhound Australia Head Office, the role of the Workplace Health Safety & Compliance Advisor is of a generalist nature that reports from a business perspective to Greyhound’s National Safety and Compliance Manager.

Essential Experience:

  • Minimum Cert IV in WHS
  • Minimum 5 years WHS experience in a blue-collar environment
  • Exceptional ability to build relationships and influence at all organisational levels
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, judgement, problem-solving skills and results orientation
  • Ability to research, investigate and identify core information
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to focus on the long-term focus whilst still meeting day to day operational needs
  • Planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Desirable experience:

  • ICAM Lead Investigator
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment
  • Previous knowledge of the transport industry and understanding of the passenger transport sector
  • Understanding of the Chain of Responsibility provisions under the Heavy Vehicle National Law Act
  • Developing and implementing ISO45001, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 management systems
