We are seeking an enthusiastic full-time staff member to join our Student Care team in our Sydney CBD campuses. The regular working hours will be between 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and 10:15am to 6:45pm.
The main responsibilities will be the following:
Provide exceptional customer service (students, staff, agents and visitors etc.)
Assist students with requests/general enquiries related to their course(s)
Assist with monitoring and communicating course progress
Actively participate in understanding and continuously enhancing the student experience
Resolve individual student issues such as timetable changes, results, attendance or other matters
Receipting of student fees and data entry as required
Assist with online and face to face student enrolment
Ensuring each student has an unforgettable learning experience
Other administrative tasks as required (filing, scanning, generating certificates, monitoring student attendance etc.)
The applicant must possess the following:
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills (must have completed IELTS to the level of 7.0 in all components)
Fluency in a second language is not necessary but will be regarded as an advantage
A Bachelor's Degree in Australia or a Diploma or higher (priority given for APC graduates)
A minimum of 12 months of general office experience
Exceptional communicator with a passion for learning
Excellent computer skills (email, internet, word processing, spreadsheets etc.)
Organisational skills, including the ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
Ability to listen and enthusiastically interact with students, staff and visitors
Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Experience working with international students would be an advantage. Previous experience in a similar position will be highly regarded.
Remuneration in accordance with the Education Services (Post-Secondary Education) Award 2010, up to Level 3.1 ($47,523.83 per annum + super) depending on experience and qualifications.
