Our client, an international software company, with Australian office in the Brisbane CBD, requires a senior IT professional to lead and manage software product development and maintenance teams in Australia and offshore with a focus on project delivery.
 

Required Skills and Experience
  

  • At least 5 years’ experience leading teams in a software project delivery environment;
  • At least 5 years as a senior developer or solutions architect;
  • Tertiary degree in a software related discipline;
  • Thorough understanding of and experience in current best practice software development methodologies covering all phases of the SDLC, including experience in both agile and waterfall methodologies;  
  • Ability to lead, motivate and direct a team of  software engineers;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in successfully handling multi-level stakeholder interactions;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate several tasks/projects in parallel; 
  • Ability to learn new skills and concepts quickly and thoroughly;  
  • Commitment to project and product success which may require working unconventional hours during critical times.
