About the Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer | Administrator to help develop, maintain and improve our platform in response to the continuous changing of internal and client business requirements. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain internal and customer-facing service portals.
  • Develop and maintain a body of knowledge around the processes used to manage the ServiceNow platform.
  • Create and maintain custom applications, modules and other components as required.
  • Write code that allows separate systems to work with the ServiceNow platform to achieve business outcomes. 
  • Assist the Business Intelligence Specialist to create and maintain reports that involve data generated and recorded in the ServiceNow platform.
  • Attend internal and client meetings where necessary and work with stakeholders to determine and implement solutions.

Skills and Experience:

  • Unrestricted Australian working rights. 
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, process design and problem-solving abilities.
  • A strong understanding of SQL and database structures and commands.
  • A strong understanding of REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Excellent web design and Javascript skills.
  • A strong understanding of ServiceNow concepts and development methodologies; including Update Sets, Cloning, Service Portal, Business Rules, Client Scripts, the Glide system, Application Studio, Scheduled Tasks, Templates, SSO, the Dictionary, the Service Catalog, the Knowledge Base, Email services, System Properties, security management, Web Services & API and the Workflow Engine.
  • The ability to structure solutions in a collaborative way.
  • A logical and methodical approach with keen attention to detail.
