Early Childhood Education & Care Trainer/Assessor

About the Role:

Based in Sydney's CBD, this is your opportunity to work for our Education Division as an Early Childhood Education & Care Trainer/Assessor.

Reporting to the Education Manager, the purpose of this Sessional position is to enhance the students' learning experience by providing high quality, engaging training and assessment that addresses the needs of the student and complies with all MEGT and various regulating bodies, policies, procedures and compliance requirements.

You will be provided the opportunity to work with Sydney's premier trainers in Early Childhood Education and Care in a culturally diverse environment with primarily international students.

TAE40116 or TAEASS502 and completed some industry currency for 2019 is required.

Administrative and management or coordination experience is highly desirable.

  • continually strive for personal and organisational development
  • high level organisational and administrative skills able to prioritise own work schedules
  • ability to work in a team environment and be receptive and positive to change
  • strong communication and people management skills.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Attributes:

  • Certificate IV TAE 40116 or equivalent essential
  • Degree and/or Diploma or equivalent in Early Childhood Education
  • current and relevant industry experience in Children's Services including experience as a Centre Manager or equivalent job role.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Police Check and any State/Territory Working with Children Check (where applicable).
