Project Manager - Landscaping

JK Williams Group is a well-established and highly regarded tier 2 civil construction company situated in Western Sydney.

The opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager who is well versed in managing Landscaping Projects. 

The position is an integral part of the Project Team, working closely with the Project Managers, Site Supervisors and other construction personnel, demonstrating sophistication and a talent for project management, project administration, resources and material utilisation.

About you

We are looking for a candidate who possesses progressive thinking, demonstrated commercial success and robust project administration capabilities.  A rigor and discipline for converting project programs to solid and well-organized site activities, exceeding project time line and profit outcomes is a defining requirement of this position.

It is also important you possess:

  • Formal landscaping qualifications
  • Previous experience in civil construction
  • A flair and capacity for multi-tasking 
  • A sound understanding of WHS, Environment and Quality procedures and policies

You must be able to assist with meeting and responding to company goals and objectives. Demonstrate sound judgment and acumen with the ability to provide analysis and insight through the capture of data drawn from landscaping and resources management activities.

The successful applicant must also demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Strong commercial aptitude
  • Project and contract administration in a Landscaping environment
  • Resources management & utilisation
  • Aptitude both in written and verbal form
  • Problem solving - deductive reasoning & analytical thinking
  • Functional capacity at client and project level
  • Report preparation and interpretation
