Customer Experience and Travel Co-ordinator

An exciting newly created role has the scope for you to create key business partners with Travel and Adventure companies. This position is centred around developing holiday packages to Teach, Experience and Indulge the bike and marine enthusiast or anyone just wanting an exciting adventure around Australia and New Zealand! 

Reporting to the Corporate Marketing Manager, the key tasks are:

  • Research, identify, engage and build relationships with tour and hospitality operators to offer a unique experience across Australia and NZ
  • Develop an events calendar to excite adventure seeking individuals and groups 
  • Co-ordinate and arrange suitable destinations and activities to maximise the customer experience
  • Work with key business stakeholders to ensure resources are allocated for events and holiday packages
  • Negotiate terms with key business partners to maximise profitability, whilst strengthening brand advocates
  • Work with the marketing team to develop communication packages to engage customers
  • Attend trade shows and events nationally to promote experiences
  • Keep abreast of latest travel industry trends by attending webinars, conferences and other education programs 
  • Build and maintain client relationships, by networking, promotion through social media and promotional marketing material. 
  • Ensure corporate risk and compliance requirements are met

To be considered for the position it is essential that you have:

  • Knowledge of the tourism and hospitality market
  • Experience creating holiday experiences and packages that excite the customer
  • Ability to present to large and small groups  
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding time management and co-ordination skills
  • Qualifications in Tourism, Hospitality, Event Management or Business
  • Experience with Motorcycle and Marine product advantageous
