INPEX-operated Ichthys LNG is one of the largest and most complex LNG developments in the world.

 

To support the development and operation of Ichthys LNG’s substantial assets, we are seeking talented people to join our Corporate team.

We are seeking applications via resume from any members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities who aspire to work in the Corporate areas of the Oil and Gas industry and join our Darwin city and site-based teams.

 

This opportunity is available for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply for under the Solid Pathways Program.

 

Solid Pathways Program

  • Our goal is to provide an opportunity to develop and train skilled individuals for future positions within INPEX.
  • You will be provided with on-the-job support and external training.
  • The program will run for 24 months.
  • During the program, your key responsibilities will include:
    • Completing rotations through various areas of the Corporate Coordination team including Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Aboriginal Affairs, Darwin Corporate Office and External Affairs.
    • Understanding and supporting the implementation of INPEX’s stakeholder engagement strategies.
    • Supporting the HR and Darwin Office teams with a range of tasks and projects including research.
    • Developing a sound understanding of end to end processes for the HR department.
    • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professional integrity in relation to all tasks and communications.
    • Actively participating in the individualised training plan created to support your professional development

Key qualifications, skills and experience required to apply for this Solid Pathways Program opportunity:

  • Completion or significant progress towards completion of a relevant degree.
  • Experience working in a corporate office environment will be highly regarded, but not critical.
  • The ability to effectively manage time in situations with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization and externally.
  • Strong written communication skills including ability to create corporate standard documents.
  • Ability to work autonomously on projects.
  • Driver’s licence.
  • Computer skills to a self-supporting level of proficiency:
    • Microsoft office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel

At the end of the program, you will be expected to have the capability to perform the role of a Corporate Coordination Officer.
