We are looking for: Permanent full time Production Assistant wanted for our fast paced post production facility.  This is an entry level position that would best suit someone who has just finished a screen and/or media course. Our ideal candidate will be friendly and approachable.  Be able to think for themselves, motivated to learn and assist in every way.


About our company: Inverleigh is a young, dynamic media company with offices in Melbourne, London and Miami that produces and distributes sports television programming and content for international television networks and their audiences. Our programs are currently broadcast by over 160 television networks worldwide.


Time Commitment: 5 days per week predominantly 08:30- 17:30.  

Some shift work and occasional weekend work required. 


Purpose: The position of Production Assistant provides assistance to the Producers and Editors throughout the post production process for all Inverleigh programs.  Supports the day to day needs of the business and other office admin duties. Reports directly to the Production Manager.


Duties will include (not limited to):

  • Editing, timecoding and revising scripts

  • Assistance with fact checking and the quality control process 

  • Maintain office supplies (stationary, milk, hardware etc.)

  • Organise and receive deliveries

  • Answering main business phone and receiving guests

  • Regularly updating spreadsheets and entering data

  • Communicating with clients


  • Opportunities for development:

  • Build in show graphics from templates

  • Assisting editors, searching and researching vision

  • Client service and delivery

  • Music rights and cue sheets


Essential Equipment knowledge: Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.  Google Docs.


Additional Equipment knowledge: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator.

(These additional skills will determine higher end of the pay range)
