We are looking for a hands on Product Coordinator to cover a period of maternity leave in our Business Development team. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will provide end-to-end product management support including creating and costing custom product for the key accounts and sales teams.

In this role, you will work with stakeholders across the business including publishers, account managers, inventory, production, freight and finance teams, and international counterparts, to coordinate the printing and delivery of all business development custom product. You will manage customer based requirements for correct product creation and delivery, cost products correctly, achieve correct specifications and scheduling, ensure style and brand guidelines are adhered to and secure approvals in a timely manner.

You will coordinate all inventory information for the team and work with stakeholders to identify new opportunities for moving stock as well as developing new product ideas for the business development and key account teams.

You will also be responsible for all product administration including setting up new ISBN’s, assisting with presentations for the sales team, updating the intranet site, updating and adding product information to appropriate systems, maintaining data and making sure it is up to date, placing international orders and ensuring stock ordered is on schedule and will arrive by the specified delivery date.

The successful candidate must have previous sales or administration experience and/or experience in the publishing industry or bookshops. Ideally you will have knowledge of designated accounts, paper based products and/or manufacturing and imported goods.

You will be a strong communicator and have demonstrated experience building strong relationships with stakeholders. You will be planned and highly organised, a creative thinker and proactive in nature. You must be good with numbers and understand basic concepts of costing.
