Territory Manager Northern NSW & Qld

THE COMPANY
Founded in 1991, this leading Australian-based supplier of adjuvants and spray additives to the Ag/Hort/Grape/Turf industries manufactures and markets more than 70 products designed for optimum crop performance under individual unique local conditions. The Company’s applications focus on environmentally compatible ingredients, and are sold through Australia’s leading Agricultural Chemical Rural Merchants. The Territory Manager - Nth NSW/Qld, will champion the entire portfolio for Broadacre and Horticulture  products with the local reseller networks – through business development; marketing and a strong communication presence tailored to these dynamic regions.

THE ROLE
The key objectives of the Territory Manager role are winning sales and marketing/educating for the entire portfolio for Broadacre and Horticulture product range, tailored to the local industries.  This includes setting the overall face-to-face Business Development; Account Management; Marketing strategies – all driving developing and expanding product sales.  The key objectives of this position include:

  • Successfully identify and develop new applications and opportunities for existing and new products into the local industry;
  • Successfully set and meet short/medium/long term business and individual reseller goals and targets;
  • Successfully achieve agreed volume, gross margin and revenue targets by driven business development, plus direct management of allocated customer accounts; and
  • Effectively implement local marketing calendar - including field day participation; presentations/training; delivery of samples and promotional materials to resellers.

THE REQUIREMENTS
You ideally have experience working with adjuvants, preferably with relevant tertiary qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS Office or other Content Management Software and CRM use;
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English;
  • Experience developing sales from scratch, as well as, growing relationships with existing local resellers and large enterprises is essential.
  • Experience developing and implementing local sales/marketing plans; is essential.

Current/Valid Driver’s Licence is required. Australian, NZ Citizenship or PR required.  All Applications are treated with Strict Confidentiality.
