Your Role…

This role is at the forefront of our data collection process. The role includes both independent and team-orientated market research conducted through face-to-face interviewing and observational studies. The collected data will be utilised to develop reporting for client-centric strategic planning.

As part of the EY Sweeney team you will be expected to consistently deliver high quality data and strive to achieve assigned quotas during your shift. Our team prides itself on working collaboratively, and encouraging regular open communication between field staff and our leadership team office.

 

What we look for:

  • Minimum availability of three days a week (weekends inclusive). Weekday availability is preferable
  • Demonstrated fluency in spoken and written English - excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling is required
  • Ability to understand and follow correct procedures with minimal errors
  • A strong interest in the data collection process and adherence to data integrity
  • Adaptability to work in dynamic environments and across various field research programs
  • Eligible to work in Australia (International students/WHV holders welcome) 
  • Punctual, respectful and professional presentation at all times
  • Willing to work on your feet in both indoor and outdoor environments for various shift lengths and times
  • Excellent communication skills with respondents, stakeholders, and greater EY Sweeney team
  • Proven understanding of the standards relating to quality data in market research (accuracy, consistency and integrity). In your cover letter, please include a concise, 100-word paragraph to highlight your understanding of what it means to collect ‘quality data.’
  • Sydney positions are available, as well as a select number within the Central Coast/Newcastle/Wollongong/Blue Mountains/Campbelltown/Southern Highlands locations
  • Experience in market research will be highly regarded but not essential

 

What we offer…

  • Above award hourly rates plus allowances (in accordance with the provisions of the NUW and AMSRO market research industry agreement)
  • The hourly rate commences at $24.79. The rate increases to $31.05 after 50 hours of fieldwork (unless you have already obtained these hours with a previous employer)
  • Paid travel time/expenses as per AMSRO agreement
  • Paid full training under ISO 20252
