Accounts Receivable Officer

Sydney City Toyota and Sydney City Lexus (Kaizen Motors Pty Ltd) currently have an exciting permanent position available within the Administration Department of our Waterloo Dealership. This role is crucial in ensuring the continued growth and success of one of the most reputable dealerships in Australia.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you must possess the following:

  • Previous a high volume Accounts Receivable / Collections experience within a team environment
  • Solid understanding of collections and corresponding legal framework in debt collection.
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience 
  • Valid Australian drivers licence 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • 'Can do' positive attitude towards management and work colleagues, embracing the team culture
  • Ability to handle confidential information, discretely and professionally

Day to day, the position involves (including but not limited to):

  • Prepare monthly statements to facilitate debtor collection
  • Daily debt collection by phone and email and achieving collection KPI's
  • Liaising with the Sales Department to ensure invoices are raised and processed in line with company policy
  • Receipting payments and allocating high volumes of transactions recorded on bank statements
  • Managing high volume credit enquiries on a daily basis and managing ledger of commercial accounts
  • Managing delinquent debtor accounts including as well as administration and management of debt collection through small claims local court and/or debt collection agencies.
  • EOM duties, maintenance of accounts receivable ageing trial balance and GL reconciliation works.
  • Serve as backup coverage to the Banking Clerk
  • Adhoc support to the admin team
