Process Engineer - Capital Projects

Role

Working in a dedicated capital works team, you will contribute to the delivery of our Multi-million dollar growth strategy by taking ownership of specific projects associated with capacity build across our state of the art BFS packaging line installation and Solution Preparation Suites. Your focus will be on the specification, design, procurement, installation, commissioning and qualification.

Reporting to the value stream leader, you will facilitate cross functional internal teams and liaise with suppliers, generate and execute testing documentation and validation protocols. You will also be responsible for schedule adherence and effective scope management.

The role requires a certain amount of creativity, resilience and perseverance, as well as a great eye for detail and a natural curiosity. Key to success in this role is ensuring the engagement of all key stakeholders whilst driving project outcomes and delivering on commercially sensitive timelines.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering
  • Notable experience working for a company in Fast Moving Consumer Goods / short shelf life or pharmaceutical industry with a focus on delivering and commissioning plant and equipment.
  • Driven, highly organised with a high level of personal accountability and integrity
  • A meticulous approach to problem solving, relying on facts and data to drive decisions.
  • Ability to multitask and appropriately prioritize while under operational pressure
  • Comprehensive understanding of Lean concepts, principles and tools
  • Strong customer focus with excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Experience of working with automated processes is highly valued
