The Deloitte Consulting Operations team provides a dynamic environment where you will work on challenging projects, across a range of client organisations.

What will your typical day look like?

Our Operational Transformation team is growing rapidly in response to market demands for critical thinkers who can solve complex business problems. Our clients face challenges that range from transformation in response to market demands, through to disruption from technology advances such as robotics and cognitive automation that enable us to overhaul the customer experience and the efficiencies that can be gained from operations.

  • Engage directly with high profile clients on their most important and challenging business issues - addressing and solving their priority operational problems
  • Work with a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of in pursuit of helping our clients drive profitability and performance through their business operations
  • Draw on Deloitte’s unique capabilities in Design thinking, Digital, Data Analytics, Deloitte Access Economics, and experience from our global consulting network
  • Undertake extensive operations focused training and development (both structured and on the job), with the opportunity to experience borderless careers through international assignments and secondments
  • This role requires superior team leadership, mentoring and proven capabilities in people management

About the Team

We take on the problems that keep CEOs and COOs up at night. Deloitte’s Operational Transformation team is growing rapidly in response to constant and disruptive technologies like AI and cognitive automation. In understanding our clients’ strategies, we turn these strategies into measurable and lasting results. This involves us implementing it in every facet of their business - from radically revitalizing customer experience to optimising day-to-day operations.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

In response to strong client demand for our services, we are currently seeking to recruit outstanding Operations Consultants with 4+ years of experience. To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • At least 4 years of operations consulting experience in a Tier 1 Consulting firm or boutique operations firm
  • Proven experience leading consulting project teams, working at executive levels within top ASX organisations or equivalent - in areas such as supply chain, enterprise cost reduction, operational improvement and process excellence
  • Exceptional quantitative, analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
