People and Culture Coordinator

The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) works in partnership with 15 National Boards to implement the national regulatory scheme for health professionals. The purpose of health practitioner regulation is to protect the public by ensuring that only health practitioners who have the skills, qualifications and knowledge to provide safe care are registered.

The People & Culture Coordinator is accountable for providing professional and customer focused service and support to our people and the business throughout the employee lifecycle from engagement to onboarding and off-boarding.   The role will also be responsible for the management and review of administrative systems and processes to ensure efficient and reliable service, integrity and accuracy of data and continuous improvement of our processes.

This is a parental leave contract for 12 months on a Full Time basis in Melbourne.

In this role you will:

  • Provide professional, timely and proactive coordination and administrative human resources support to the People and Culture team across all aspects of the employee lifecycle
  • Provide administration and coordination support to organisational change projects and processes  
  • Coordinate the production and development of management information to produce reports, metrics and analysis to support managers and the business in workforce management activities 
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of employee data is maintained and

As the ideal candidate, you will demonstrate the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in human resource management or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in working with human resource information systems and tools and proficient across the Microsoft Office suite, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
  • An exemplary customer focus - your stakeholder engagement skills are second to none!
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support all areas of the business in all locations
  • Agile, proactive and have the ability to prioritise competing tasks
