The role:

We are seeking experienced Land Management Technicians specialising in Land Management, Horticulture and Arboriculture to execute planned works. This role is a 6 months fixed term contract.

 

Responsibilities also include:

  • Carrying out works including weed mitigation & control, fire-trail remediation and assist management of overabundant native and feral animal control.
  • Day to day execution of programmed land management, horticulture and arboriculture works.
  • Maintain all plant and equipment and complete all daily equipment checks
  • Carry out all works with minimal disturbance to the environment and disruption to the community and clients core business
  • Liaising with exceptional customer service with clients and customers.
  • Report details of all non-conforming work and materials.

 

To be considered for the role you will need to possess the following:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Cert 1 in Wildfire fire fighting
  • Level 2 Work Place First Aid
  • Cert 3 Conservation and Land management.
  • Level 1 in Chainsaw Operation (trim and cross cut)
  • Experience in the application of herbicides, ACUP qualification to administer chemicals
  • Use of minor plant and equipment (mowers, tractors, brush cutters, spray units)
  • Current Manual car drivers licence with no restrictions
