Position summary:

Reporting directly to the Asset Manager, the Sales Associate will be responsible for the selling of our brand new homes at our new development site, Sunrise Lifestyle Resort located in Port Stephens.

  • Weekend availability is essential
  • Attractive sales commission program 

Duties of the Sales Associate include but are not limited to:

  • Home sales: Sell homes to prospective buyers in a timely fashion according to community objectives, in order to maximise home sale profit, fill sites, and maintain occupancy.
    • Conduct price and sale negotiations with prospective buyers.
    • Conduct floor plan/ colour/ floor coverings/ option selection with home purchases.
    • Create and complete sale contracts and site agreements with prospective buyers.
    • Create and complete home supply agreements with home suppliers.
  • Sales transactions
  • Prospect identification
  • Develop relationships with clients, referral partners, or centres of influence in order to obtain personal introduction to prospective clients.
  • Sales flyers: Prepare sales flyers for inventory homes when purchase order has been approved.
  • Marketing: Assist Sales Director in formulating marketing strategies for the community and work within the marketing budget in implementing these initiative
  • Maintain databases: Track all sales traffic in Hometown's electronic prospect and lead follow up databases in order to advance the sale, track our marketing and sales activity accurately, follow up on sales opportunities, and attract prospective buyers.
  • Maintain Display homes: Monitor the maintenance of Display homes and sales offices to ensure a professional and presentable sales environment and quality product for prospective buyers.
  • Sales forecasts: Remain current on customer needs, industry trends, market activities, and competitor actions in order to create reliable sales forecasts and opportunities.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Full drivers licence and reliable car
