Guest Services Agent - Melbourne Airport

  • Commence on 28th October
  • FREE Staff Car Parking
  • $28.38/ph + Shift Loadings

We are seeking candidates with outstanding customer service skills who would like to interact with our client's highly valued travelling guests. In this role you will provide a highly polished degree of service and guest care in line with the airline's service promise and values.

As the first point of contact for guests, you can expect to perform a variety of duties including:

  • Directing guests as they arrive at the airport
  • Checking in guests for their flights - both domestic and international
  • Re-booking of flights and handling flight disruptions and cancellations
  • Assisting special needs guests
  • Assisting at the kiosks
  • Practicing safety and security
  • Weighing and tagging bags
  • Checking identification

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Possess an outgoing, professional and vibrant personality
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have a high level of verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain an impeccable standard of presentation
  • Display a natural empathy with travelling guests
  • Demonstrate superior customer service, preferably from a premium company in the airline, hospitality or travel industry
  • Possess your own reliable vehicle and have a current driver's license
  • Be available to work across all 7 days on a casual basis - no minimum hours guaranteed
  • Available to commence training on the 28th September
  • Be willing to pay for a medical/DAMP at $400 (not negotiable)
  • Be willing to undergo a police check
