CASE SUPPORT OFFICER

Position No: POOL REF COM17019
Salary/Level: Level 2 $61,172 - $66,256 pa pro rata -PSGOCSAGA

The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, housing, community initiatives and regional services reform.

The Opportunity

As a Case Support Officer, you will build on your knowledge, experience and passion as you assist our Child Protection teams in the District with direct casework and administrative support. You will also provide outstanding assistance to our clients in relation to case work matters.

Other duties include:

  • Coordinating and scheduling clients contact visits
  • Providing assistance with client payment options, including payment of accounts
  • Effectively participating in on-the-job learning and developmental activities

Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments will be made for this or similar future vacancies (fixed term or permanent) that arise within the next 12 months across the Department of Communities. 

Conditions

A criminal record check and departmental check will be conducted prior to commencement. You will also need to obtain a satisfactory Working with Children Check prior to appointment.
