Responsibility:

  • Assist the Director of Engineering and Maintenance Manager in the day-to-day maintenance requirements
  • Complete daily plant inspections
  • General Handyperson duties, including minor carpentry, plumbing and HVAC
  • Attend to guest requests for maintenance repairs.
  • On completion of daily rounds sign off any relevant section of maintenance manuals

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a hotel maintenance department 
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills
  • Demonstrate sound decision making capability with the ability to work autonomously
  • Available to work a 7 day rotating roster
  • A commitment to The Langham Sydney's values of trust, partnership and integrity and achieving an incident and injury free environment
