Early Childhood Teacher or Room Leader

Why the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to support children with autism aged 2-6 years, in developing and implementing a quality education and program.

You will join a transdisciplinary team of peers in Behaviour Therapy, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Early Education. This is a special role to work with our wonderful children and develop your skills in the field of autism-specific early intervention. Utilising your skills as an Early Childhood Teacher/Room Leader with the principles of Behaviour Analysis, you will develop and implement a quality education and intervention programs that assist our children to enhance their independence and quality of life.

You are a passionate Education Leader seeking a purposeful and meaningful vocation and to make a significant difference in the lives of children with autism.

If you are Teacher, you are equipped with an approved ACECQA early childhood teacher qualification and Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.

If you are a Room Leader, you are equipped with an ACECQA approved Diploma qualification or be studying towards this qualification with the Cert 3 units completed.

Both roles will hold a current First Aid Certificate including anaphylaxis and asthma.

Autism-specific experience is desirable but not essential. You will receive training and support within the framework of this role.
