The position

  • Compliance management for hazardous chemicals
  • Responsible for the technical support to our hazardous chemical treatment site operations
  • Provide technical and analytical support to the site, sales team and external laboratory customers.
  • Assist operational and technical teams with production.
  • Run trials, select treatment methods and verify their suitability, ensuring that wastes can be treated profitably.
  • Comply and liaise with relevant authorities based where necessary.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Degree or Diploma in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • Strong technical and Interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience working with waste or chemicals
  • Field sampling or laboratory experience
  • Experience with risk assessments and work instructions
  • Knowledge and understanding of chemicals and applicable legislation relating to their use, storage and disposal.
