We are recruiting for a Mobile and Fixed Plant Operator to be based at our Lime and Limestone plant in Calliope, Queensland, reporting directly to the Operations Superintendent.
The role of requires a preparedness to be trained in various plant and processing operations and to work in a flexible manner as part of the broader Calliope team. The position includes and is not limited to tasks such as crushing, mining, manual clean-up and loading of trucks and general plant operation control.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience in:
Safe work practices including conducting risk assessments
Ability to plan, organize and undertake work in a safe and efficient manner
Experience in an industrial setting (e.g. mineral processing, manufacturing or quarrying)
Basic computer skills in MS Office
A current driver’s license
Experience in front-end loader operations is desirable
