Customer Advice Officer

Our Client based in Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, has an opportunity for an experienced customer service officer to join their team, a chance to secure a contract role with an October Start!

Working within a high performing team this role will initially focus on supporting the introduction of a new initiative, supporting business professionals and providing advise and customer service to clients and stakeholders.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Be accountable for a range of procedural, operational and administrative activities and provide advice and customer service to clients and stakeholders on enquiries, where the quality is monitored
  • Provide advice and routine information, within the constraints of policy guidelines and professional standards, to a range of clients in relation to their obligations where the quality of advice is monitored
  • Undertake routine compliance improvement as well as assist in review and audit activities in relation to client obligations, determine appropriate action, amend client details and assessments, and determine penalties as appropriate
  • Understand specific client and stakeholder needs, and interpret, apply and explain a variety of legislation, policies, procedures and business or team plans and measure compliance with these
  • Be accountable for the quality and integrity of records on internal systems to verify and ensure accuracy of data, record interactions and decisions

To be successful you will have:

  • Strong Computer skills, including use of Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate outcomes.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new tasks.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and transparently in a tight knit and supportive team environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to undertake some defined outbound contact with clients.

Full Security Clearances will be required for these roles.

The successful candidate will need to be able to commence on the 21st October 2019, working 37.5 hours per week. This is a contract position with the potential to extend.
