Located at the forefront of the south east growth corridor, Cardinia offers an exceptional opportunity to work in an extremely diverse municipality with exciting planning developments, variety and autonomy

Dedicated to Growth Area Planning, you will be leading Strategic Planning projects including the preparation of precinct structure plans, urban design frameworks, development and infrastructure contribution plans, strategies and policies. You will also lead the Growth Area Statutory Planning team which is focused on the implementation of the precinct structure plans. You will play an integral role in problem solving and issue resolution with extensive liaison with other Council departments, developers and state government agencies at all stages of the development process.

To be successful in this role, you will have an appropriate tertiary qualification with previous experience in  a Statutory or a Strategic Planning role. Your knowledge and understanding of planning processes including planning related legislation will allow you to excel in this challenging, yet exciting role.
