Customer Service Assistant/Scheduler

An MPAQ member is seeking a full time Customer Service Assistant /Scheduler to join their expanding team

To be considered to join their team you will be

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Managing the small team of tradespeople
  • Scheduling of tradespeople to attend to jobs from Gold Coast to Brisbane and surrounding suburbs
  • High volume of incoming and outgoing calls
  • Building a relationship with our clients which are prominently property managers
  • Taking ownership of the role
  • E-mail enquiries that are job specific
  • Issuing entry notices
  • Assisting with issuing of quotes and follow up as required
  • Assisting management with administrative duties as requested 
  • Maintaining a clean and organised office environment

REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES and QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  
  • Must have previous experience managing a team of tradespeople to help with their day to day requirements
  • Experience with invoicing and accounts
  • Excellent communication skills - written and oral
  • Energetic, fast learner and able to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced small office environment
  • Accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Minimum two years clerical or administrative experience with general office skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to calmly handle all situations and work under pressure when required
  • Positive attitude in conveying benefits of products and/or services.
  • Experience in either plumbing or building industry

This is a full time position with working hours Monday to Friday - 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (some additional hours maybe required as agreed from time to time).

Those with no experience running 2 or more tradespeople need not apply.
