The Role.

The Clinical Trial Assistant (CTA) is a unique role as it combines your passion for working directly with participants/volunteers and a preference for working in a structured and guided environment, within protocols and a regulated framework.

You will acquire knowledge of all our trials and be able to apply this and work within study protocols, regulations, GCP guidelines and SOPs. You will play a key role in data collection and ensure all information is accurately recorded, working in collaboration with various functional teams to deliver successful trials.

Our CTAs are assigned to work either as part of our Clinic team or the Study team. Working as a CTA in our clinic means you will be monitoring participant behaviour, performing basic clinical care and conducting procedures such as vital signs, ECG's, blood collection, blood processing as well as recording adverse events and data collection. Clinic CTAs will work closely with our Research Nurses to observe and monitor participant well-being.

 

Your Experience and Attributes.

To succeed in your role as a CTA you will be ideally be degree qualified (in health care or similar) and demonstrate the following:

  • High attention to detail and ability to rigorously adhere to relevant documentation standards and protocols
  • Proven initiative, ability to work within a team, as well as autonomously, ability to handle multiple tasks with ease, with good time management
  • Effective and professional communication skills with peers, supervisors and external stakeholders such as participants/volunteers.

Although clinical experience is highly valued, we will provide you the relevant training and work experience necessary to succeed in the role. You will need to prove your commitment to learning and development.

Clinic CTA positions are suited for individuals with medical, nursing or phlebotomy backgrounds.
