  • Be inspired, every day
  • Take your career in exciting, rewarding directions
  • Be a part of an inclusive, collaborative community

There’s a certain feeling you get from working at Monash University. It’s the feeling that you’re a part of something special. Something significant. And that’s because you’re not just starting your career, or taking on a bigger challenge. You’re making a real contribution – surrounded by energetic, inspiring people who are driven to make a difference as well. Monash is a place where you’ll be able to develop your career in exciting, sometimes unexpected ways – putting you in the best possible position for a rewarding future.

The Opportunity

The Monash Faculty of Law is consistently recognised as one of the world’s leading Law schools. Our excellence in research, teaching and scholarship has been at the forefront of legal education for decades in Australia.

We have a great opportunity for a Student Services Officer to provide the first point of contact for student enquiries on a broad range of administrative matters relating to their studies and the various services offered within the Faculty.

In this role you will work across all faculty student service areas to provide support and to undertake accurate and efficient completion of activities. You will be involved in faculty functions and administering student administration including but not limited to admissions, enrolment, course advice, credit, and course completions.

When providing course advice to a range of students in undergraduate and postgraduate programs it is essential to have a good general knowledge of the University environment, relevant processes and extensive experience in front-line customer services.

If you have excellent interpersonal skills to enable effective communication with a variety of people at different levels and can provide quality customer service in a client-oriented environment, we would welcome your application.

If you believe you can fulfil these requirements, you are strongly encouraged to apply.

At Monash University, we are committed to being a Child Safe organisation. This position at the University will require the incumbent to hold a valid Working with Children Check.

Your application must address the selection criteria. Please refer to "How to apply for Monash Jobs".
