Recreation Facilities Coordinator - Eastern – Fixed Term

Salary Package: $112,655 per annum plus super – housing negotiable

The City of Karratha is currently seeking to appoint a Recreation Facilities Coordinator – Eastern to join our Recreation Facilities team on a fixed term basis up to 30th October 2022. This position is based at the Wickham Recreation Precinct, offering an attractive salary and a range of other benefits including, but not limited to:

  • Allowances
  • Six weeks annual leave
  • 13% Superannuation
  • Monthly ATO

 

The Recreation Facilities Coordinator - Eastern is responsible for the sound, efficient and timely coordination and management of infrastructure and services in the townships of Wickham, Roebourne and Point Samson, located within the City’s Eastern Region. This principally involves overseeing the day-to-day management of major recreation infrastructure and services as well as assisting in facilitating master planning and concept design for the development of a new Wickham Hub.

 

To be considered for this role you will have:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Recreation, Business Management or similar with a minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
  • Sound knowledge of issues affecting communities in regional and remote areas
  • A current Provide First Aid Certificate
  • A current “C” class driver’s licence
  • A National (or Federal) Police Certificate no more than 6 months old
  • Pool Manager’s certification (desirable)
