Logistics Team Leader

Burra Foods a highly successful and growing dairy company is seeking an experienced Logistics Team Leader who has good industry exposure to join our team. Ideally that industry exposure includes Dairy Manufacturing!

Located at our factory in Korumburra, this is a great opportunity for an inspired and innovative individual to come on board and make a difference. The Logistics Team Leader will provide leadership and ensure the accurate operation, reporting and compliance of dispatch, warehouse and receival functions.

We are about to implement a SAP system across the business and therefore experience in SAP will be a distinct advantage.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous proven experience in the design for warehouse/dispatch efficiencies;
  • A demonstrated understanding of day to day management of BFA’s WMS ensuring accurate inventory;
  • Proven operational experience in the management of day to day carrier movements;
  • Success in the management of internal site movements;
  • Proven experience in the creation and maintenance of warehouse/dispatch operational procedures and work instructions to ISO level;
  • Demonstrated experience in warehouse inventory reconciliation including periodic full stocktakes and regular cycle counts;
  • Strong commitment to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) requirements.

You have;

  • Proven ERP experience in a logistics environment and the ability to troubleshoot systems issues;
  • Excellent written, oral & presentation skills;
  • Proven high level attention to detail, well organised with a high level of compliance;
  • Demonstrated ability to work in an autonomous environment;
  • Success as a manager of people;
  • A successful track record of self-managed leadership skills, with the ability to manage conflict;
  • Intermediate MS Excel/One Note.
