Tenders and Proposals Manager

We are Australia’s largest privately owned mining, construction and maintenance services company, working across the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Submissions Manager to join our team in our Osborne Park Office.

Reporting to the General Manager Business Development you will be responsible for managing and contributing to the development and delivery of effective, efficient and consistent work winning documentation – for both the mining and construction divisions. The role also provides content and supports the company’s website, presentations, marketing publications, displays and advertising.

Working in a diverse environment, you will be responsible for:

· Contribute to the identification, development and maintenance of the database of opportunities from prospect identification through tendering and on to handover to Operations.

· Managing all work winning subscriptions, intel services, and the like and escalate as required.

· Work closely with the Business Development General Managers in assessment of opportunities and provide input into all facets of the work winning process, including account management plans, Go / no go decisions, strategy to win, kickoff, planning, reviews, production and lessons learned.

· Support and lead the submission team during submission planning, writing and production of submissions, presentations and other business development collateral.

· Manage the development and maintenance of the evidence library including CV’s, project data sheets, testimonials and other submission building blocks.

· Liaise with SME’s, estimators, planners, commercial leads and operational teams

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar or related role;
• Proven prior experience in the mining and/or construction industry;
• Experience in proposal preparation, persuasive writing and graphics.

• Confident decision maker, sound interpersonal and influencing skills
