Lending Operations Officer

Fantastic opportunity exists for a Lending Operations professional to join a dynamic financial institution focused on member service and operational excellence.

About the role

As a Lending Operations Officer, you will play an important part in ensuring high quality, timely and professional service is provided to our members. Experience in lending operations will be essential as you will be responsible for providing support to our members throughout the settlement, construction and post-settlement processes of the loan cycle.

Key accountabilities of this position include:

  • preparing loan documents
  • instructing solicitors
  • preparing and funding loan settlements
  • processing product and security variations
  • actioning construction progress payment requests
  • administration duties and reporting.

The role is fast-paced and necessitates taking full responsibility, whilst establishing and maintaining good relationships with members and internal stakeholders.

About you

You are a self-motivated and proactive lending professional who will be able to hit the road running. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish trusted relationships with both members and staff.

You will also have:

  • Proven knowledge of loan documentation, administration and compliance
  • Demonstrated understanding of:
    • product and security loan variations
    • mortgage loan construction process
  • Demonstrated customer service skills together with the ability to work within set deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Efficient time management skills
  • Proficiency computer skills in Word and Excel.
