About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists in our Australian business within UNSW Village, for a Customer Support Agent, reporting to the Operations Manager.

We are looking for someone with energy, positivity and initiative who is committed, flexible, confident and team-focused.

Key responsibilities include the following:

  • Operation of the reception services of the Village.
  • Consistent delivery of exceptional customer service.
  • Contribute towards economic occupancy targets of the Village.
  • Play an active role in the delivery and communication of major campaigns.
  • Ensure that high levels of detail and accuracy are applied to customer records within the systems.
  • Build relationships with University contacts.
  • Ensure all CLV marketing and brand guidelines, along with all associated policies and procedures, are followed.
  • Actively participate in all appropriate University events including open days and other events.
  • Ensure that a positive impression of the Village is created for all prospective customers, parents and clients.
  • Promote a customer first culture and ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • General office administration tasks.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Commitment to consistently delivering the highest levels of customer service.
  • A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a similar role, preferably in an accommodation setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, database management systems, web content management systems and Adobe InDesign.
  • A formal qualification in hotel, marketing or business management.
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check.
  • Current National Police Check.
