Panoramic Resources is offering an exciting and unique opportunity to join the Savannah Nickel Mine team in our Perth office.

 

The Opportunity

Panoramic Resources is currently seeking a Payroll/ Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a full-time maternity leave cover position based in our Perth office for an initial 6-12 months.

 

Working closely with the Finance and HR teams, this role has a dual responsibility to ensure accurate and timely preparation of payroll and accounts payable services.  The Payroll/ Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for preparing and monitoring the payroll system; providing financial and administrative services which includes processing and monitoring payments and expenditures.

 

In this role you will manage the end-to- end payroll process across both timesheet-based and salaried employees. You will also need to be familiar with PAYG and Tax calculations. In addition, you will also manage the full AP function, completing monthly payment runs. With a strong customer focus, you will be a point of contact for both AP and payroll queries.

 

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in end-to-end Payroll and Accounts Payable experience preferably within a mining or a related industry.
  • Competent user of PRONTO (accounting package).
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Consider yourself a collaborative personality with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach to your work
  • A hard-working, can-do work ethic.
  • Current National Police Clearance (within 6 Months).
  • Be able to pass a medical
