Data Insights Lead

About the opportunity:

Reporting into the Customer Analytics Engagement Manager, you will lead the engagement with business decision makers, senior stakeholders and campaign managers to foster a vibrant dialogue to ensure that analytic investigations deliver useful results for strategic decisions, customer experience and market campaign performance. Task managing up to four people using Agile methodologies, you will build capability and cohesion within the team and influence senior stakeholders and colleagues towards a more data driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead virtual teams of business, marketing and data professionals to engage a dialogue about what success looks like
  • Lead the development of scenarios and hypotheses for analytic investigation
  • Lead the design and development analytic insights for strategic decisions, customer experience and campaign performance
  • Produce effective visualisations that enable people to easily understand information
  • Communicate complex information in a clear, succinct manner
  • Contribute to analytics strategy and provide thought leadership in data visualisation techniques and tools and stay across industry trends

You will be/have:

  • Experience in a similar leadership position where you have worked with a broad range of customer-related scenarios to improve business outcomes.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people
  • Outstanding facilitation skills and business acumen.
  • Highly proficient with R & Python & SAS / SQL.
  • Practical experience in developing rich visualisations, backed by a sound knowledge of leading practice and principles
  • Experience in person-centred design techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within virtual and agile team environments
  • An understanding of big data platforms and architecture
