Dispatch Assistant

As Australia’s second largest roast and ground coffee company with a global footprint, here at Di Bella, we take pride in our superior quality coffee. We source premium pure green beans from around the world, roasting them to perfection through our bespoke customised blending services and micro-roasting capabilities. We pay tribute to the farmer and their crops by highlighting the unique flavours which nature intended to, to provide the ultimate coffee experience.

For us, the greatness is in the detail. Through our Crop to Cup program, we spend many hours in our day building and fostering direct relationships with our coffee communities: the farmer, the roaster, the barista, the customer and our consumer.

We blend, roast and distribute daily from our roasting warehouses in Australia, New Zealand and the United States so that café owners across the world can consistently serve the freshest coffee possible.

As the Dispatch Assistant, your role is to:
  
  • Ensure all customer orders are consistently packed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Reference inventory checklist against orders
  • Ensure the distribution of fresh coffee at all times is in line with company standards
  • Communicate and handle any changes, problems or complaints relating to customers’ orders and stock in a prompt manner
  • Deliver stock to wholesale customers, collect proof of delivery, provide invoice, and rotate stock as required.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of packing and delivery procedures to ensure they are working effectively and efficiently;
  
Individual Attributes
  • Full Drivers License
  • OH&S and First Aid qualifications are desirable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Highly organised with the ability to take direction and follow instruction
  • A fun loving attitude and enjoy the challenge of a fast moving environment
  • Commitment to a safe and healthy working environment
