Cashier

We are currently looking for a Cashier/ Data Entry Clerk for a temp assignment based in Flemington Markets. This position will be Monday to Friday starting at 4am paying $28 + ph. Initially this position will be a three week assignment, with the opportunity to be extended.

As part of your daily duties you will provide a high level of customer service and will be required to collect and process all cash sales. Other duties will include, however not limited to;

  • Answering incoming phone calls
  • Respond to customer enquiries, e.g. process credits & reprint invoices
  • Prepare cheques and cash to be collected by security services
  • Complete a daily balance of cash sales and payments
  • Asist with preparing sales reports for sales team at the end of trade

To be considered for this role you must have;

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role/industry
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Full availability Monday to Friday
