Let’s talk about this position:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our ResMed team. This role is will manage staff to deliver the required levels of operational performance, safety, people performance and capability, quality and responsiveness of services to meet the overall needs of the business. The responsibilities of this role include some of the following;

  • Responsible for a Warehouse team of typically 20-40 personnel divided into work groups
  • Organise the effective receipt, storage and handling of product, tools and services.
  • Monitor and ensure Warehouse staff adherence to ResMed Quality and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
  • Uphold a culture of Work Health and Safety compliance that fosters a continuous improvement philosophy to optimise team performance.
  • Organise the effective work order picking.
  • Work Order picking.
  • Product movement and handling.
  • Product Issuing and Transfer processing.
  • Plan Order Picking in accordance timeline deadlines.
  • Expedite all product shortage actions through warehouse.
  • Balance the workload to resource.
  • Management of personnel issues for all staff, including:
  • Administration of the appropriate time and attendance system
  • Induction and assessment of new applicants
  • Leave scheduling
  • Staff training, mentoring, maintenance of the workplace training systems.
  • Staff assessment and performance management.
  • Stock Rotation Control (FIFO).
  • Monitoring stock control, accuracy, efficiency and quality
  • Manage training of Safe Work Methods and flag any changes to direct manager
  • Perform other tasks as required

Let’s talk about you:

  • You will have a minimum of 3 years work experience in a warehouse supporting a Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in a frontline leadership
  • Experience in Inventory and Sales Warehouse support role
  • Good level of Computer literacy - Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, Oracle, Objective and BPA Application
  • Have a current Forklift Licence (LF),
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong capability to plan, coordinate and organise work of a team
