Store Leader - Brisbane

  • Permanent full-time opportunity with travel to surrounding Stores required
  • We are seeking a roaming Store Leader to support the Brisbane Area
  • Leverage your previous people leadership experience
  • Make a real difference providing quality outcomes in all areas of people, customer, risk and performance

The purpose of the Store Leader is to Lead a team of sales and service professionals in pursuit of delivering unbelievable people and customer experiences through elevating all areas of the Suncorp Compass Behaviours: Think Big, Kick Goals, Be Your Best, Show You Care. This role is ideal for a leader who likes variety and has a strong desire to move across the region to support in role relief, coaching and development. 

Key Responsibilities

  • A permanent leader that will support leave relief, coaching and development within the region.
  • A strong people leader that is willing to travel throughout Brisbane (East Brisbane, West Brisbane and South Brisbane)
  • Leading a team to focus on achieving the agreed business and local marketing plan objectives, focused on people, customer, risk and performance.
  • Supporting a sales and service team to match customers’ needs to Banking, Insurance and Life products.
  • Open communication and liaison with customers that lead to recommendations of appropriate financial solutions.
  • Facilitation, education and support of customers in the use of self service and digital banking opportunities including online banking and smart ATMs.
  • Managing the operational controls of the store to align with local business and marketing plans (i.e Oversight and Customer Assurance, resourcing, sales focus, operating hours, rostering, credit quality, complaints resolution)
  • Role model and manage direct reports to live the Suncorp Values and Compass Behaviours while adhering to all corporate HR policies

Skills & Experience

Qualifications 

  • Tertiary Qualifications in business, commercial or finance are desirable

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in roles requiring acquisition, retention and growth of a customer base.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial services desired.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating a highly motivated and focused team.
