Buyer / Sales Administrator

openshop "the new fun way to shop" by the Australian Shopping Network (ASN) was established in late 2018. openshop gives its customers a shopping experience, like you have never seen. Our shows are broadcasted on the channel seven network, currently in the five major cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth) of Australia.

Alongside televised home shopping, we have also broadened our scope into other retail sectors such as, online and mobile based shopping platforms. openshop's parent company is Hyundai Home Shopping Network Corporation, who are the largest TV shopping network, broadcasting across Korea and South East Asia. Australia is the fourth extension of Hyundai's global reach.

So what will my day to day look like?

  • You will be assisting in the day to day operations of the Buying team
  • You will be performing a variety of administrative duties including the running of reports and placing of purchase orders
  • You will be working closely with our Buyers to assist in product related issues that may arise and resolve all matters in a timely manner
  • You will be maintaining our product database and communicating with suppliers to coordinate meetings
  • You will be providing general assistance for the Buying team for other ad hoc tasks which may be required.

 

Sounds great, what do I need to have?

  • You will have solid administration experience in a corporate or office environment (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • You will have a high attention to detail and data entry skills
  • You will thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • You will have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • You will be able to work autonomously yet a part of a collaborative team environment
  • You will also have a can-do attitude and be prepared to assist the Buying team when required.
